Gorge Amphitheatre RV Camping 2027: Which Sites Take RVs, Hookups and Pump-Outs

RV parked at a festival campground with a camper sitting outside

The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington hosts multi-day camping shows every summer, and it is one of the most RV-friendly venues in the US: you can bring a rig into almost every campground. Here is what the venue publishes about RV camping, and how we would set up a rental there.

Which campgrounds take RVs

  • Standard Camping: the budget pick. Tents, cars, vans and RVs welcome. Sites are about 15' x 25', so most RVs will need a second Standard ticket.
  • Premier Camping: about 20' x 35', with flushable restrooms and showers, near The Gorge Market. No power hookups.
  • Front Yard Camping: about 20' x 50', a short walk from the main gates. No power hookups.
  • Terrace Camping: about 700–720 sq ft per site, with private showers and shuttles. RVs welcome, but the Terrace cottage-tent glamping does not allow RVs.
  • The Grove RV Park: about 20' x 50' with 30 amp or 50 amp power, the only powered camping at the Gorge.

If your rig is bigger than the site, you have to buy another campground ticket. One vehicle pass comes with each camping ticket, and a second steering wheel needs its own pass.

The rules that matter for a rig

  • Up to six people per site, and everyone must be there at check-in. Sites are assigned in order of arrival and you can't save a spot, so convoy in with your crew.
  • No re-entry on the opening or closing day of camping.
  • Camping tickets don't include show admission, and they are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Quiet time is 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., strictly enforced. Plan generator use around it.
  • No open campfires; the Gorge says propane fires are permitted.
  • No pets in the campgrounds; service animals are allowed.
  • Honey Bucket does RV servicing for a fee: waste removal $150 and water fills $175, including sales tax, when they can schedule it and reach your rig.
  • Showers are free, there are water refill stations at The Pivot, and the general stores take card or mobile pay only and don't sell tents or big camping gear.

Hookup or dry camp?

The Grove is the easy choice if you want AC on a hot afternoon and heat on a cold desert night without a generator. Everywhere else, you are on house batteries, solar and a generator outside quiet hours. Arrive with full fresh water and empty tanks so you are not paying for a mid-weekend pump-out: dry camping vs hookups and festival generator and power rules.

What we pack for a Gorge weekend

Central Washington in summer is dry and dusty, with big swings between day and night. Our short list: shade for the side of the rig (Shade & Canopies, staked well: securing a canopy in wind), a dust plan for the door and vents (how to dust-proof a rental RV), goggles and gaiters (Dust Goggles & Masks), a warm layer for nights (Cold Weather Festival Gear), and a cooler plan, since ice is sold on site but you have to carry it back (keeping food cold). The full list is our US festival RV packing list.

Going to Bass Canyon?

Bass Canyon 2027 (August 13–15) is the Gorge's big dance-music camping weekend, with its own camping passes and dates: see Bass Canyon RV camping and the Bass Canyon packing list. New to renting? Start with renting an RV for a music festival and questions to ask before you book a festival RV.
