Bass Canyon 2027 RV Camping: Grove Hookups, Sites and Rules at the Gorge

Jim sitting outside an RV at a festival campground, the kind of rig setup this Bass Canyon RV guide covers

Bass Canyon 2027 runs August 13 to 15 at The Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. It's one of the easier fests to do in a rig: RVs are welcome in most camping areas, and The Grove RV Park has real power hookups. The catch is that the nights get cold and the days get dusty, which is exactly why a rig is worth it.

What the official site says

  • Campgrounds open Wednesday, August 11 at 1 p.m. PT for Standard, Premier and Wednesday-arrival passes. Everyone else can enter from Thursday, August 12 at 10 a.m. PT. All campers must be out by noon on Monday, August 16.
  • RVs can camp in Standard, Premier, Front Yard and The Grove RV Park, as long as the rig fits inside the site. If a trailer plus tow vehicle is too long, you can unhook and park the tow vehicle next to it in the site, but you may need an extra pass.
  • Premier Camping takes car campers, tents and RVs without power hookups. Front Yard sites are about 20' x 50', near the venue entrance, with no hookups.
  • The Grove RV Park has about 20' x 50' sites with 30 amp or 50 amp power, the closest powered camping to the amphitheatre. As listed in October 2026, it was $974.50 plus fees for Thursday arrival or $1,012 plus fees with Wednesday arrival.
  • One vehicle per camping pass, up to six guests per site, and everyone must be there at check-in. Groups that want to camp together have to arrive together.
  • Every camper needs a 3-day festival wristband, the camping pass doesn't include admission, and you must be 18 or older.
  • Honey Bucket handles pump-outs and water delivery for a fee. The Gorge's camping FAQ lists waste removal at $150 and water fills at $175, subject to scheduling and access to your rig.
  • You can have an RV rental dropped off before you arrive: buy the RV camping pass and festival admission first, then fill out the festival's drop-off form.
  • Generators are allowed at your campsite, but not during quiet hours, 2 a.m. to 8 a.m. No outside sound systems or DJ setups.
  • No open campfires; the Gorge says propane fires are permitted. No glass of any kind.

Hookup or no hookup?

If you want AC in the afternoon and heat at 4 a.m. without running a generator through someone else's sleep, The Grove is the pick. If you're fine on house batteries and a generator outside quiet hours, Premier or Front Yard costs less. Either way, read dry camping vs hookups and our festival generator and power rules first.

Rental tips

For every campground at the venue, not just Bass Canyon weekend, see our Gorge Amphitheatre RV camping guide.

SeaTac is about three hours away, and the festival says the drive is a scenic one. Check your rental company's generator and mileage terms before you book (our 12 questions to ask before you book covers this), and bring a dust plan, because the Gorge is dry eastern Washington in August: how to dust-proof a rental RV.
