A next-day recovery drink mix from Soft Landings: single-serve sachets you mix with cold water, with a blend of 27 vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Per the brand's nutrition label, each sachet includes 482 mg magnesium (as magnesium glycinate) along with potassium, calcium, zinc, selenium and other minerals. It also has vitamins A, C, D and E and the B group, plus L-tyrosine, 5-HTP, NAC, alpha-GPC (choline) and acetyl-L-carnitine. The flavor is lemon ("Lemon Squeezy"). An 80 g pack holds 20 sachets, and the brand says the mix is vegan and gluten-free. Built for dusty desert festival camps.

Why we picked this

After festivals going back to Dead tour in the late '80s, we know the morning after a big night is part of the trip. We've used Soft Landings' Post Party Recovery Drink ourselves, and it works great for us. It's a big part of why this brand is on the site. Our practical tips: stir a sachet into cold water at camp, mixed in a cup or your water bottle. Treat it as one piece of the routine, not the whole thing. Eat real food, drink plenty of plain water, and get actual sleep, ideally with shade, a mask and earplugs.

Desert / festival notes

  • The label suggests one sachet in 200 ml of cold water, before bed and/or after waking. Follow the label and don't exceed it.
  • Keep the sachets sealed in a zip bag. Powder and playa dust don't mix well.
  • Sleep gear from the same brand: Blackout Sleep Mask and SoundControl earplugs. For food at camp, see protein packets and RXBARs.
  • Soft Landings runs multi-pack offers on its own site, so check there before you buy.

Label notes (important)

This is a drink-mix supplement, not a medicine, and we make no health claims for it. The brand's label says it's not suitable for children under 15 or for pregnant women. Soft Landings also says to check with a healthcare professional before use if you're pregnant or nursing or take any medication, and it specifically names antidepressants because the formula contains 5-HTP. Read the full ingredient list on Soft Landings' site before you buy.

Soft Landings sells this direct from its own site. Orders ship from Australia by Australia Post, and the brand quotes 5–10 business days to the U.S., so order well before you pack.
