Ships in several boxes
This isn't one boxed kit. Each piece is its own Amazon listing, so expect several packages and tracking numbers. Dustproof picks the list; Amazon handles the orders.
Next step: Map trip length + climate in the free Pack Planner, then share this kit link with campmates.
Why we pick this
Every windy fest has a morning where half the pop-ups are upside down in the next camp. A frame built on real fittings, strapped and staked, is still standing when the wind drops. This is the parts list we'd hand a friend for a first real shade build.
- Bring it when: Hot, exposed camps where you'll be there several days and have a car to haul poles.
- Skip it if: You fly in or share a small site. A pop-up with weights, or a campmate's shade, is simpler.
- In the box: Separate Amazon listings: low-peak canopy fittings for 1 inch EMT, screw-in stakes, ratchet straps, and heavy cable ties. EMT poles are not included (buy locally and cut to length), and neither is shade fabric.
- Field tip: Mark every pole and fitting with tape and a number before you leave home. Building in a dust storm is not the time to solve a puzzle.
