Pukkelpop 2027 runs Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 August 2027, according to the festival's official site. It takes place in Kiewit, near Hasselt in Belgium, and it is known for a very broad lineup, from rock and metal to dance, pop and rap. The camping rules below come from the festival's current English FAQ, which still describes the 2026 edition, so treat them as a strong guide and verify 2027 details before you go.
Tents only: no campervans on the official campsites
This is the big one for van travellers: the festival says you can't stay at the official Pukkelpop campsites with a camper, caravan or motorhome. If you are touring Europe by van, plan to park it elsewhere and tent at the festival, or skip the campsite. Our UK and EU campervan list covers fests that do take vans.
The two campsites
- There are two campsites: Camping Chill, right across from the festival site, and Camping Relax, about a five-minute walk away. Camping Chill also sells pre-pitched packages if you don't want to bring a tent.
- Camping tickets are bought separately from festival tickets. For 2026 they cost €43, rising to €45 when Belgian VAT on camping tickets went up from 1 March.
- A €15 Recycling Deposit is added to each camping ticket. You get it back if you return your waste or your party tent to a Recycling Point and have your wristband scanned after the festival.
- For 2026 the campsites were open day and night from Thursday 09:00 to Monday 12:00. With a combi ticket you could camp from Thursday noon until Monday noon; day-ticket holders get a shorter window.
Power: lockers, not sockets
The campsite FAQ lists no power points for tents, and the shower blocks have no sockets; the festival says anything that runs off a power bank is fine. You can rent lockers with a power socket or USB port on the campsite and the festival site, but you must bring your own cable and adapter (the festival's words). The camping shop sells five minutes of electricity for €1. So bring a big power bank, and if you are coming from the UK or the US, a European plug adapter for the locker socket. See our phone charging guide.
What is on the campsite
- Hot showers, free from 8 AM to midnight (from 5 PM on Thursday), plus toilets with toilet paper.
- Drinking water taps: two at Camping Chill and one at Camping Relax.
- Food Islands with microwave ovens (bring microwave-proof containers and your own food) and hot water for coffee and noodles.
- A large 24/7 camping shop, a self-service supermarket, a 24-hour bar and a thrift shop for forgotten or broken camping gear.
- The Info Desk will inflate your air mattress.
- Pukkelpop still uses physical cardboard tokens for food and drinks; in presale, 20 tokens cost €72 for 2026, and they are non-refundable.
Getting there
Combi (four-day) and day tickets include train travel with Belgian rail (NMBS/SNCB). If you drive, on-site parking is paid on the day and mostly cashless, and for 2026 it was €17 for one day up to €30 for four days. With a combi ticket you could enter the festival from 6 PM on Thursday, and from 11 AM on the other days.
