Camp EDC at Las Vegas Motor Speedway sells "Bring Your Own RV" passes, and it's one of the best ways to survive three nights of desert heat and sunrise sets.
What the official site says
- Bring Your Own RV (Dusk or Dawn, 4 nights): $796.45 all-in before tax and delivery; with Power Add-On $1,592.90. Extra vehicle pass $137.16.
- Dusk Till Dawn 11 nights requires the power add-on: $3,008.83.
- Up to the RV's sleep capacity, max 8 people per site.
- Power needs a minimum 75-foot cable with a 30 or 50 amp connector.
- Water refills and pump-outs are sold on site at the RV Services Booth.
- RVs must be Class A, B or C, 19 to 45 feet including any tow vehicle. Truck campers and fifth wheels need their own onboard generator or the power add-on.
- Your RV needs working AC that runs off the onboard generator or power, not the engine. Leaving the engine running isn't allowed.
- Arrive with a full tank. There's no refueling on site, and personal gas cans for refueling are banned.
- Once staff park you, the RV stays put until Monday morning unless you're leaving for good.
- Gas generators are banned at Camp EDC. Solar generators are OK, and so is the RV's built-in generator.
- Camp EDC doesn't rent RVs, and no one without a ticket and camping pass can drop off or set your RV. You drive it in yourself.

Rental tips for EDC
May in Vegas is hot, so AC matters more than anything. Make sure the rental's AC runs off the generator, not the engine. If you skip the power add-on, ask the rental company how generator hours are billed, and fill the tank on the way in. Las Vegas has plenty of rental depots, so round-trip from the city is the easy play.
