Soft Landings Dance Fuel Party Hydration — Electrolyte Mix, 20 Sachets

A sugar-free, caffeine-free electrolyte drink mix in single-serve sachets, made for long, sweaty nights on the dancefloor. Per the brand's Supplement Facts, each sachet has 480 mg sodium, 432 mg potassium and 84 mg magnesium (as magnesium glycinate), plus 300 mg vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamins B1, B6 and B12, selenium and 150 mg acetyl-L-carnitine. It's lemon flavored and sweetened with sucralose, with 20 sachets per pack. Soft Landings says it supports hydration and energy and describes the taste as slightly salty. Built for dusty desert festival camps.

Why we picked this

We've been doing festivals since the late '80s, Dead tour on up, and we've used Soft Landings' Dance Fuel ourselves. It works great for us. What we like is that it's an electrolyte mix built for a long night of dancing rather than a gym session, and it has no sugar and no caffeine. Our practical tips: tear a sachet into your water bottle before you head out, so the salt and water go in together. A sachet isn't dinner, so eat real food at camp. And none of this replaces sleep, so get some, in the shade if you can.

Desert / festival notes

• The label suggests one sachet in 600–1000 ml of water. That's one sachet per Soft Landings Festival Bottle or a similar 24–32 oz bottle.
• In dry desert heat, sweat evaporates before you notice it. Keep drinking plain water too, not just the mix.
• Keep the sachets in a zip bag so dust and humidity stay out, and stash a few in your day bag.
• Other electrolyte options on the site: Liquid I.V. and LMNT.

Label notes (important)

This is a drink-mix supplement, not a medicine, and we make no health claims for it. Follow the label directions and don't exceed them. The brand's label says it's for adults only. It also says to check with a physician first if you're pregnant or nursing, take any medication or have a health condition. Keep it out of reach of children.
