AquaQuest Defender Tarp

AquaQuest's Defender, a heavy-duty, seam-taped waterproof tarp and rain fly (20,000 mm rating per the listing).

Why we pick this

This is the serious rain fly: seam-taped and heavy-duty, for camps that see real storms, like a wet Lost Lands or a Bonnaroo thunderstorm night. It costs a lot more than a poly tarp, so it's the pick when the shelter has to hold all weekend. How we pitch it is in our rain and mud packing list.
