Dustproof Supply: gear that survives the festival.
November events in Southern California are often a mix of indoor and outdoor stages, with nights colder than people expect. You're not camping, so you need far less gear. You do need to plan for the venue's bag rules and the cold walk back to the car.
Rules first. The event and its venue sets its own rules and they change from year to year. Check the official festival FAQ and the current-year rules before you buy anything on this page. Where our list and the official rules disagree, go with the official rules.
Indoor and stadium-style venues often have strict bag and item rules. Read the event's official FAQ.
