Clear PVC / transparent hydropacks exist because many venues want see-through bags. A hiking daypack that “has a bladder” can still fail the pocket count or opacity rule. Pack for the strictest policy you might hit that weekend — venues differ.

Do all festivals require clear bags? No. Policies change by venue and year. Clear packs are the lowest-drama default when the PDF is vague or you hop venues.
