Powerextra M12/M18 Charger — Milwaukee Compatible (Generic)
A rapid charger for Milwaukee M12 and M18 lithium packs, per the listing, with indicator lights and an integrated chip that prevents overcharging. If both slots are full, the 12V pack charges first.
Honest note: this is a third-party compatible product, not made or endorsed by Milwaukee. Capacity numbers and safety marks (CE, FCC, RoHS and the like) are seller-declared. We didn't see a UL or ETL listing claimed on this one. If you want brand-made, buy Milwaukee's own.
Pairs with: DEWQKI 5.0Ah 2-pack and the DeForce Mini Blower.
Why we pick this
One charger covers both M12 and M18 packs, so the camp’s drill, the blower and the work light all share it. It’s well reviewed, at about 4.5 stars over roughly 1,500 reviews, and costs a fraction of Milwaukee’s own. It’s small, too, so it lives in the tool bin and isn’t one more thing to pack.
- Bring it when: You have M12 or M18 packs and power at camp.
- Skip it if: You have no power at camp, or you already own a Milwaukee charger.
- In the box: One charger, per the listing. No battery.
- Field tip: Chargers wander between camps. Write your camp name on it.
- Late-fall note: Charge in the cab or the RV, not on a cold, damp table outside. If a pack comes off a frozen night, give it time to warm up first. A charger can’t make up for a pack that’s too cold to take a charge.
Battery / lithium notes
- Chargers aren't batteries, so no Wh limit. Keep it shaded and dust-free while it works.
- FAA PackSafe: spare lithium batteries ride in carry-on only. Up to 100 Wh is fine; 101–160 Wh needs airline approval, two spares max.
- Keep packs shaded and off the dash. Heat kills lithium. Wipe grit off the contacts before you click a pack in.
