Primavera Sound Barcelona holds its main days from 3 to 5 June 2027 at the Parc del Fòrum, with a free opening day on Wednesday 2 June and the Primavera Bits closing party on Sunday 6 June (access to those two is subject to conditions and capacity). There is no campsite, so this is a day-bag festival: you sleep in the city and travel light.
Bag rules
Large bags, suitcases, large backpacks and motorbike helmets are not allowed in, and the festival says there is no cloakroom outside the site. Small backpacks and bags are fine. A slim hydration pack or sling bag is the move: how to choose a hydration pack.
Water and cups
Drinks are not allowed in, except water in a plastic bottle without a cap, up to 50 cl. You can bring your own plastic cup up to 40 cl. Bottles and cans are on the banned list, and food is allowed as long as it is not in glass.
What the festival tells you to bring
Its own FAQ lists comfortable footwear, a cap or hat for the sun, a jacket or jumper for the evening, earplugs, and a rain jacket if rain is forecast. We would add sun cream and a power bank: Hydration & Cooling, earplugs and sleep masks and keeping your phone charged.
Cameras
Professional (DSLR) and video cameras are not allowed without permission; analogue, compact and disposable cameras are fine. Laser pointers and drones are banned.
Check before you pack
We only list what the festival has published, and rules can change. Read the official FAQ before you go: primaverasound.com.
