Ozora Festival 2027 Packing List: A Week in the Hungarian Valley

O.Z.O.R.A. Festival returns to Dádpuszta, Hungary, from 23 July to 3 August 2027. That is close to two weeks on site if you arrive early, so this is a proper camping trip, not a weekend.

Fire rules shape the kit

Ozora's published fire safety rules forbid smoking or open flames inside any tent or enclosed structure, ban smoking and anything that could start a fire in or within 20 metres of the woods and cropland, and ban all pyrotechnics, including in the camping and caravan areas. When a fire ban is declared, all open flames are off. So we build the kit around battery light, not candles: our camp lighting guide.

Food without flame

Because a fire ban can switch on mid-week, we plan meals that need no flame at all and treat any cooking as a bonus: Festival Food & Snacks and keeping food cold.

Shade and heat

It is late July in central Hungary, so shade and water decide how well you sleep and how long you last in the day. See Hydration & Cooling, how to keep a tent cool and blackout tents for sleeping past sunrise.

Power for a long week

A phone will not last twelve days on its own. A power bank or a small power station covers it: keeping your phone charged and power stations for camping.

Campervans

Ozora has camping and caravan areas, and the fire rules apply there too. If you are driving in, our Festival RV Kit covers dry camping. For renting a van in Europe, Roadsurfer is one option; check the festival's caravan rules first.

Check before you pack

We only list rules the festival has published, and the fire rules above are from its most recent rules page. Read the current pages before you buy anything: ozorafestival.eu.
