Download Festival returns to Donington Park from 9 to 13 June 2027.
Gazebos and stoves
Download allows gazebos in the campsite within reasonable size limits, and you may be asked to move one if space is tight. Individual gas canisters are banned, as are petrol burners and generators. Permitted stoves include Trangia and meths stoves (up to 1 litre of fuel), gel fuel and solid-fuel stoves. See Camp Kitchen and Shade & Canopies, then secure it in wind.
Rain and mud
Donington in June can turn muddy fast. Rain & Mud and Rain & Mud Fest Kit are our starting point.
No glass, aerosols under 250 ml
Glass is banned, and aerosols over 250 ml are too. Bring cans or plastic, and a reusable bottle.
Campervan site
Download's campervan site gives each vehicle pass a pitch of about 9 m by 7 m, with no water or electric hook-ups. The vehicle must be a real campervan, motorhome or caravan (a fixed bed, water tank, storage and a fitted cooker, among other rules); a van with only a mattress does not count. Gas is only allowed when professionally installed and certified in the vehicle. Rooftop tents are allowed on the campervan site. Campervan passes for 2027 have been listed as sold out on the festival's site, so check before you book a rental such as Roadsurfer. Our Festival RV Kit covers dry camping.
Check before you pack
Rules change from year to year, and we only list what the festival has published. Read the official page before you buy anything: Download 2027 campervan terms and things you can and can't bring.
For the hydration, foot care and first-aid basics we pack for every festival, see our Health & Wellness picks and our Staying Healthy at a Festival guide.
