Creamfields runs in Daresbury, Cheshire, from 26 to 29 August 2027.
Tents only, no campervans
Creamfields campsites are tent-only. Campervans, caravans and motorhomes are not allowed, and you cannot sleep in your car. So a good tent is the whole plan: tents and our tent guide.
No gazebos, no gas
Gazebos, gas canisters, generators, campfires and charcoal BBQs are all banned, along with glass, aerosols (deodorant included), portable speakers and disposable vapes. The rules on small cooking stoves have changed between years, so check the current list before you bring one. Easy no-cook food is the safe call: Festival Food & Snacks.
Rain and mud
Late August in the north-west can be wet. Pack wellies and a waterproof: Rain & Mud and our rain and mud list.
Swap the aerosols
Since aerosols are banned, bring roll-on deodorant and lotion sunscreen. Our Health & Wellness picks include stay-clean basics.
Check before you pack
Rules change from year to year, and we only list what the festival has published. Read the official page before you buy anything: Creamfields: what can I bring.
For the hydration, foot care and first-aid basics we pack for every festival, see our Health & Wellness picks and our Staying Healthy at a Festival guide.
